The Mackay Division of General Practice is pleased to announce the first Central East Queensland Self Management Conference at the Central Queensland University (Mackay Campus) on Saturday 20th June 2009. This major regional event promises to be an excellent opportunity for health professionals to network and have access to foremost leaders in the Self Management field. The confirmed conference Keynote speaker will be Professor Malcolm Battersby, Director of the Human Behaviour and Health Research Unit at Flinders University, S.A.

The purpose of this letter is to invite organisations to participate in the Central East Queensland Self Management Conference as a sponsor. This Conference will be the region’s major professional development activity for GPs and health professionals in 2009. MDGP will make available Continuing Professional Development Points for all sessions attended by GPs and Certificates of Attendance will be issued to all other health professionals. The Conference will provide an effective and dynamic platform for sponsorship opportunities for organisations wishing to promote their company to GPs and health providers in the Mackay region in 2009.
